Who are the S.P.I.R.I.T. kids?

Ten-year-olds Matt Romero, Maya Gupta, and twins Hans and Agnes Smit, have one thing in common — their parents hunt ghosts for a team called S.P.I.R.I.T.

It’s not a hobby most kids’ parents have. In fact, you might think it’s pretty embarrassing (Matt Romero would agree). But it only took the investigation of the haunted Wally Waterston Elementary School to get all four kids to see differently. That strange autumn night inside the old school showed Matt, Maya, Hans, and Agnes that though their parents may be obsessed with investigating paranormal mysteries, it’s the four of them who have all the skills to solve them.

Knocks & Taps was created to share some of the weird, strange, and creepy stories of the S.P.I.R.I.T. kids. Each week, new stories related to their experiences will appear here to help you learn about ghosts and all things paranormal. If you enjoy these short stories, then be on the look-out for a future S.P.I.R.I.T. kids book series that will be filled with the teams most terrifying tales.
